What is Texas Yellow Cap?
Texas Yellow Cap is a cultivated isolation from a wild Texas cubensis population, developed around 1998 from Texas Orange Cap. It is one of the few strains with a real peer-reviewed measurement (~10.8 mg/g psilocybin), genuinely above the cubensis average despite its beginner-friendly reputation.
Potency — measured vs. reported
Lab-measured: 10.8 ± 0.8 mg/g psilocybin.
Reliable lab data exists for only a handful of strains. We separate lab-measured values from community claims and don't inflate — growing conditions affect potency more than the strain name.
