About Velvet Rush
DJ Short's name carries weight in breeding circles, and Velvet Rush, the hybrid released under it, reports a THC range from about 19 to 21 percent. That's a solidly strong window without tipping into the most extreme potency figures seen elsewhere in the category. No terpene, flavor, or lineage data has been published for this particular cut, so the profile here rests mainly on the breeder's reputation and that confirmed THC range. As a hybrid, Velvet Rush isn't classified as leaning toward either the indica or sativa side, keeping it in the broad middle ground genetically. Given DJ Short's decades of work in cannabis breeding, the absence of published lineage for this specific release is somewhat notable, though it doesn't change what's actually confirmed: a strong but not overwhelming THC ceiling paired with a well-known name behind the cross.
